Rick Juckes

Upon leaving college, Rick joined the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool as a musician, working alongside actors such as Julie Walters, Peter Postlethwaite, Matthew Kelly, George Costigan and Bernard Hill.

Shortly afterwards Rick became Musical Director for the Everyman; a post he held for five years before becoming a freelance composer/musical director where upon he expanded into radio, television and film. Rick founded Splash Sound Productions in 1982.

Rick is married to the writer Gillian Juckes. They have 2 sons Abe and Nathan, both of whom work in TV.
